Eric Krakauer is a soccer play-by-play commentator for MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Prior to joining MLS for its debut season on Apple TV, Eric was Charlotte FC's first-ever play-by-play commentator, joining the club in the lead-up to its MLS expansion campaign. 

Eric joined Charlotte after spending five years, at beIN SPORTS USA, where he was a play-by-play commentator, studio host, and analyst, covering a wide range of leagues and competitions, including La Liga, Ligue 1, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana, the Champions and Europa Leagues, as well as CONMBOL World Cup Qualifiers.

Born and raised in Portugal, Eric played soccer at the academy level before moving to England to finish his secondary education. He then moved to New York City, where he attended Manhattan College and played for their Division 1 soccer team.

After graduating, Eric pursued a teaching career in public education while also doing freelance soccer writing for soccer publications, mostly covering the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC in MLS. Eric also created, produced, and hosted the BigSoccerHead Podcast, which featured interviews with soccer personalities from the US and world soccer.

He is the founder of BigSoccerHead Apparel.
